Before
This is the area around our back door. The washer and dryer used to be here before we moved it into the master bedroom. When we emptied the kitchen we put the freezer and microwave cart in this area. When the area has finished the freezer and some cabinets will inhabit this space.

NOTE THE WIRING COMING OUT OF THE FLOOR.

This is in the wall on the left side of the back door. Bracing for an exterior receptacle that was added. The wire going through the floor is for the receptacle under the house, at least that is what we think it is for.
R15 insulation added to the exterior wall and R11 removed.
Chunked R11 around the crack in the door.
New wire run for the exterior receptacle.

Wired my first breaker today all by myself. Watched Bro. Mike Myers do it for me many times, but today I tried it on my own. The 15amp breaker is for the receptacle and switch over panel box and outside receptacle.
Moved this fan switch from where the junction box is to its current position. Added a receptacle to plug in night light and emergency light.
Box added for generator receptacle and water and drain valves are capped. Extra studding added for drywall and washer box attachment.

When drilling the hole for the wire that would run to the generator, I drilled through a joist and the top of the 3" drain line from the commode. I had to use a furnco coupling to repair it.
Hung the drywall and with Amys help, it went together very nicely. Put first coat of mud up as well.

The ceiling is primed. We used a new low odor primer from Zinsser
Now for some ceiling paint.

Amy swept up the trash before laying the subfloor
Laid 1/4 underlayment so we can lay tile tomorrow.
I had to pour some Self Leveling Floor Compound
Receptacle covers installed
Smart Switch on Back Door Deck Light
Decided on Plank instead of tile.
Trim
New cabinets and Hidden Tool Bar
More Trim
Does not look too bad if I had to say so.
