February 13, 2021

After a hiatus on this room, we are not finally back to finish. We used this room as our bedroom while we worked in our own.

We had to 'redo' the mating wall with the living room. I did what my wife asked and only patched and painted the original wall. The staples were starting to poke through the paint and the seams were bowed. Applied 2 pieces of 12' drywall and will be ready to re-paint next week.

Primed the new wall and all the patchwork on the old ones. Fresh coat of paint on all four walls and a second coat on the new wall. I replaced all the electrical covers the next morning.

Used the new light fixture from the Den and replaced the old one in the bedroom. The one that was in this room is the one that came with the house when we purchased in 1996.

The bedroom door was trimmed and hung as well.

We had to purchase a new door knob for the bedroom and we put the old one on the closet.
