Master Bath is Where it all Started
This remodel project actually began in 2016 when we had to rip out our master bath floor and replace it. The hot water heater had busted earlier and the water had gotten under the vinyl in the bathroom and ruined it and the wood under it. We were able to clean up the mess before any mold could form and for about a year we walked on plywood floors. After much discussion, we moved ahead with plans to remodel the bath and after Christmas of 2015, we started demolition of the bath. Everything came out! The drywall, tub, sink, commode, closet, dividing walls and piping! When we finished there was nothing left but a plywood floor and insulation in the walls.
